He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Mehrens and Teresa Mehrens (Mufich); his sister Lenore; his daughter Mary Carol; his spouses, Lenore, Donald McTavish, Mary Kay, Robert Davis and AJ Mufich; and his parents-in-law, William "Buzz", Loretta Telling, Jan Telling and Rich McDougall.
He is survived by: his cousins, AJ and Mary Kay Mufich; his former wife Carol Rhae Telling; his children, David and Patti Ann of San Antonio; his daughter-in-law Clementine (Wolf) of Boise; his granddaughter Nicole Renay of Boise; his brother Arthur "Bud" of Lacey, WA; his parents-in-law, Phil of Butte, Marlene Telling of Butte, Arlene McDougall of Butte, Carol Mufich of Butte and Colleen Mehrens of Priest Lake, WA; and his son-in-law David Turano (Tim) of Annapolis, MD. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Butte Central Education Foundation, Great Falls Central High School, Lewis and Clark Foundation Children's Programs, or an organization of the donor's choice.
