He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas LaMere and Bertha Descharme; his brothers, Mark, Wayne, Ron and Jerry LaMere; and his stepson Michael Biggs.
He is survived by: his wife Helen; his children, Shawn LaMere (Nancy), Shelly Booth (Jason), Tanya LaMere, Nathan LaMere (Mistea), Anthony LaMere, Peter LaMere (Jillian), Clint LaMere (Sara) and Nicholas LaMere (Tia); his siblings, Marilyn Silva (Albert), Patricia LaMere, Susan Watson (Doc), Marty Laney, Raymond LaMere and Gail LaMere; his aunt Jean Descharme; and his uncle Charlie Descharme. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
