It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pearl Birdtail of Butte, Montana, who passed away on November 26, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Pearl Birdtail to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Parker and Isabel; her sisters, Rose, Isabel and Mayme; her husband James Birdtail, Jr.; her children, Floyd Birdtail, Suzette Campbell and Sandra Lee Birdtail; her grandchildren, Darnell Fox, Parker Garmann and Patricia Garmann; her great grandchildren, Olivia Bear and Blaine Patrick; her sisters, Agnes Long Fox, Janice Street, Katherine Ereaux, Lena Longknife, Neoma Abbott, Eunice Augustine and Ella Mae Moore; and her niece Dianna Longknife-Main.

She is survived by: her adoptive son James; her children, Tina Warbonnet of Fort Belknap, Blossom Quisno (Willy) of Fort Belknap, Verna Birdtail (George Stump) of Fort Belknap, Wanda Birdtail (Bo Wing) of Fort Belknap, Michael Cox of Fort Belknap and James Birdtail III of Lodge Pole; her grandchildren, Monte, Ashley, Oscar, Donald, Sheryl, Mackenzie, Michael, Dawn, Elizabeth, Ted, Justin, Randall, Brittany, Jermayne and Crystal; her nephews, Lyle Cochran (Marty) and Shane Abbott; and her niece Rosie Longknife-Main (Jiggs). She is also survived by 38 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren.

Private wake and funeral services have taken place due to the pandemic.
