He was predeceased by: his parents, George and Frances; and his siblings, Michael, Joseph, Lovey and Clair.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Hackman; his stepgrandchildren, Brody Hackman (Samantha, family: Audrey, Cy, Vivian), Jenna Hackman-Rolerson (Mike, family: Cooper, Wilder) and Corey Bengtson (Amanda, family: Ceailia, Isla); his nephews, Mark and Jimmy Gilboy; his brother Dr. Joe; and also, Michael, Susan, Julie, Timothy, Joey and Daniel Gilboy.
In 1979, Pat sold the 25 ton wrecker and bought a 40 ton wrecker, one of Pat's most important contributions to the towing industry.
