Patricia Anne Schmechel Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Patricia Anne Schmechel (Butte, Montana), who passed away on March 23, 2019 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Patrick and Helen; her brother Oakie (Patsy); her friend Eileen; her sister Marlene; and her husband Paul.
She is survived by: her children, Marjorie (John Strader), Jim, Joan (Sandy Ferraro), Mike (Chris), Dan (Mimi Wright), Bill (Cindy Bergum) and Steve; her grandchildren, Rachel, Christina Ferraro, Sydney Strader, Matt (Angie), Joe (Sarah), Tyler (Jill), Kathryn, Quincy and Miya Schmechel; her great grandchild Adrian Ferraro; her brothers-in-law, Laurence Dunville, Mike Schmechel (Mary Lou), O'Connor, Hertel and Hawthorne; and her friends, Jeanne Hanley, Marie Kadillak and Butte. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Patsy's family asks that donations in her memory be made to Butte Central Catholic Schools or to the W. Paul Schmechel Engineering Scholarship at Montana State University.
