Monica Evans Cavanaugh Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 27, 2021, at the age of 71, Monica Evans Cavanaugh of Butte, Montana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband John "Jake" Cavanaugh; her sons, Cody Cavanaugh and Jerod Driscoll (Cindy); her grandchildren, Tiffany Gruber, Calub Thilmony and Alexus Thilmony; her sister-in-law Marie Steyh Cavanaugh; her sisters, Colleen Pomeroy (Butch), Patrice Evans, Marlene Davis and Catherine Cox; her nieces and nephews, Hatem Chahine (Megan), Corey Thornton (Kim), Mick Pomeroy, Eric White (Danielle Nye), Griffin Davis (Brittany), Gwenna Meyer (Caleb), Caiti Eby (Jeff), Hank Cox (Ashley), Michael "Mac" Cox, Abby Cox (Cameron Corcorine), Will Steyh (Joyce) and Sue Irvin (Scott); her parents, Robert "Bob" and Bonnie Evans (Mullins); and her brother Robin Evans.

Monica's services will be Saturday at St. Ann's Church to accommodate a large crowd and allow for social distancing. 10:00 AM visitation, followed by the funeral at 11:00 with a grand Irish reception to follow at the Butte Depot.

She was the foundation that would bring and keep us together.
