He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Jany (Heczko) and Joseph Jany; his wife Rose Jany; his brother Aleck Vavas; his sister-in-law Delores Vavas; his sister Freda Kelley; his siblings-in-law, Roy Kelley, Jerry Stomsvic, Josephine Petritz and Archie Petritz; and his brother Hollis Coon.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph Jany, David Jany (Jan), Rick Jany, Mary O'Donnell (Tim), Kathy Blaskovich (Phil), Laurie Derby (Jim) and Carol Bloom (Russ); his great grandchildren, Amy (Justin), Moser, Josh (Marcie), Amber Pulst (Josh), Cody O'Donnell, Teresa Blaskovich (Brooks), John Blaskovich, Christie Blaskovich, Weston Derby, Morgan Derby, Zeb Bloom, Jake Bloom and Maddie Bloom; his sister Margaret Stomsvic; and his friend Barbara Coon. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
