She was predeceased by: her husband Rod Chouinard; her parents, Lawrence Ruffatto and Hilda Ruffatto; her siblings, Thelma and Dominick; and her grandmother Gigi (Joycina).
She is survived by: her children, Sherry (Dave Flamand), Fred (Brenda Chouinard), Rochelle (Bob Miller) and Gerald (Cindy Chouinard); and her pet Rocko. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren.
