He was loved and cherished by many people including: his son Lew; his daughter-in-law Jessica Harstead; his grandchildren, Jackson of Boulder, Colorado, Matthew of Boulder, Colorado and Thomas of Boulder, Colorado; his nephews, Tony (Robyn) and John Arntson (Tracy); his mother Helen Harstead; his siblings, Pat Harstead (Donna) and Ellen Rene Arntson (Roger); his grandmother Ellen Downey; his uncles, John Downey and Tim Downey (Minnie); his aunt Madge Semmens (Eddie); his cousins, Peggy, Bob Holland, Pauline Semmens and Rich Lorello; and also, Joanie Agamenoni (Jeff), Jack Semmens, Patsy Lorello, Peter Hristou (Rhea), Theo Davis (Don), Kathe Hristou, Maria Hristou and Jim Manion.
