He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Charles C. Wright; his wife Joanne Wright of Butte; his sons, Craig Wright (Liane) of Chandler, Walt Wright (Elizabeth Maki) of Grand Tetons, Jeffrey Soyland (Natalie) of Columbia Falls, Montana and Shawn Soyland (Jennifer Pentecost) of Butte; his grandchildren, Malia Dahl (Dylan), Kaitlyn Spencer (Anthony), Joshua Wright, Carsten Wright, Trevor Wright, Lauren Wright, Anders Soyland and Isak Soyland; his brothers, Charles C. Wright (Bob Allsop) and David (Jeannie Wright); his pet Phoebe; his father Jeffrey; his sister Vickie; his brother-in-law Luther Bellon; and his pets, Buffy, Okie, Buddy, Daisy and Misty. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials in his memory may be made to the Humane Society or St Mark Lutheran Church.
