She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Snell and Carrie Snell; her son Benjamin George "Westy" "House" Bear, Jr.; her husband Benjamin George "Benny" Bear, Sr.; her granddaughter Patricia Velmarie Bear; and her great grandchildren, Vanessa Ann Plumage and Olivia Elizabeth Marie Bear.
She is survived by: her children, Charlie Bear, Margaret "Margie" Plumage, Thomas Medicine Bear and Wesley Medicine Bear; her stepdaughter Edna "Blue" Miller; her adoptive son Douglas Stewart; and her sister Mary "Millie" Missey. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
