With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Ambo of Butte, Montana, who passed away on July 14, 2021 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Johnston and Virginia Johnston; her husbands, Frank Lewis and Victor; her son Gary Allen Lewis; and her brothers, Donald Johnston (Joan) and Dean Johnston (Darlene).

She is survived by: her daughters, Cheryl Nicholes (Leo) of Anaconda, MT and Linda Shandy of Butte, MT; her grandchild Jolanda Wessel (Tim) of Lincoln, MT; and her parents-in-law, Leland Lewis (Diana) of Las Vegas, NV and Darlene Gillette of Raymond, WA. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
