He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Collins, Sr. and Vivian Wood Collins. He is survived by: his siblings, Raymond Collins, Neil Pluid, Lucille, Mae, Edith Lynn and Mary Theresa; his son-in-law Jim Croff; his wife Patricia L. Carlson of Browning; his brothers, Ben and John Pluid of Eureka; his children, Gerald Whiteman (Dianna), Carlson "Shane" First Strike of Browning, Gina Williams of Spokane, WA, Iva Croff of Browning and Seville Flat; his grandson Rick Whiteman (Destini); his great grandchild Gerald "Cheech" Whiteman; his granddaughters, Jerilyn Whiteman-Gray (Robert) and Cecilia Whiteman; his great grandchild Bebe; his grandchild Whitney Croff; his great grandchildren, Jemma of Seville Flat, Kenton of Seville Flat, Arrow of Seville Flat and DJ of Seville Flat; and also, Andy Whiteman, BlueSky and Juniper of Ronan.
A wake was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM and at 12:00 PM at the Glacier CommunityCenter College Home. A rosary was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Little Flower Parish (204 First St NW, Browning, MT 59417).
