He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Pat Thompson; his brother Robin; his daughter Michele; his son-in-law Paul Johnston of Courtney, BC; his stepchildren, Kathleen Rath (Robert), Patrick Lewis (Jaclyn) and Erin Dander (David); his grandchildren, Lucy Rath, Tom Rath, Addie O'Dell (Donavon), Ashlyn Martin (Lane), Aliza Lewis, Annelise Lewis (Colby) and Roland Dander; and his great grandchildren, Jack O'Dell and Elizabeth O'Dell.
