As Robert departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Robert. Though Robert may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Chriss and Dora Christine Nickelson (Werner); and his wife Mollie (Morse). He is survived by: his children, Meta Smith (Doran Smith) of Bozeman, MT, Ellen Halamuda (Jerry Halamuda) of Poway, CA, David Nickelson (Reva Nickelson) of Coeur D'Alene, ID, Charles Nickelson (Imke Nickelson) of Durham, NC and James Nickelson (Susan Nickelson) of Bozeman, MT; and his sister Marjorie Briggs of Bozeman, MT. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.
