She was predeceased by: her father Martin Jesse; her husband Joe L. Somers; and her sister Donna. She is survived by: her sons, Carl Martin and Bradley James. She is also survived by three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Forestvale Cemetery (490 Forestvale Rd, Helena, MT 59602).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Joe and Phylis Memorial Scholarship fund at Montana State University.
