He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Spero Mendelson and Nelson Mendelson; and his sister Roberta "Bobbi" Grinstein. He is survived by: his spouse Lynn Mendelson (Schwartz); his children, Michele Berman (Ron), Robin Kourakis (Tom) and Adam Mendelson (Aida); his grandchildren, Andie, Zoe, Jonah, Rhys, Sequoia, Cassidy and Charlie; his brothers-in-law, Richard Schwartz (late Diane Schwartz) and Pete Grinstein; his niece Wendy Persson (Thomas); and his nephew Jeffrey Grinstein (Debbie).
