He was predeceased by: his former wife Shirley Rumble; and his stepson Paul Finnegan. He is survived by: his wife Eleanore; and his children, Linda Thorne, Doug Hartzheim (Margo), Jennifer Manwiller (Roger), Julie Stutz (Dan) and Kate Romer. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gallatin County Food Bank or St. Jude's Hospital, both causes he supported whole-heartedly.
