She was predeceased by: her parents, John Richardson and Electa Garner Richardson; her husband Ben Thompson; her son-in-law Fred Shields; and her great grandchild James Beck.
She is survived by: her daughter Sharon Thompson Shields; her grandchildren, Shanna Arneson (Dave), Terry Sternhagen and Chris Shields (Joann); her son Richard Thompson (Carol); and her grandchildren, Lisa Caudill (Brian), Craig Thompson and Jeff Thompson. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great grandchildren, and1 great-great granddaughter.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:45 PM at the Dokken-Nelson Funeral Service (113 S Willson Ave, Bozeman, MT 59715). A graveside service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Sunset Hills Cemetery (171 Fort Ellis Rd, Bozeman, MT 59715). A reception was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Dokken-Nelson Funeral Service (113 S Willson Ave, Bozeman, MT 59715).
