She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John "Jack" Detomasi and Frances Zager Detomasi; her sister Lilian Rae; her husband James "Jim" Binando; her children, Cathy (Weston) of Darby, John (Teresa) of Athens and James (Erika) of Roberts; her grandchildren, Brock, Brooke, Bailey, Burke and Blake; and also Butch Smith.

Vivian was very active in 4-H, being a project leader, organizational leader, on the Yellowstone County 4-H Council and on the State 4-H Foundation.
