It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Ann Boggess in Billings, Montana, who passed away on February 13, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Baumiller and Rose Baumiller (Gigle); and her siblings, Lawrence, Allen, Clarence, Don Baumiller, Betty (Nebraska), Rose (Florida), Aldina (Bismark) and Hilda (Washington).
She is survived by: her husband Samuel; her son William John Rapp (Peggy); and her granddaughter Nicole Leah Carlson of Billings Montana.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Smith Funeral Chapel-Laurel & Columbus (315 E 3rd St, Laurel, MT 59044). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Yellowstone National Cemetery (55 Buffalo Trail Rd, Laurel, MT 59044).
