It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shay J. Vernes of Billings, Montana, who passed away on July 13, 2024, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Larry E. Grimsrud; her brothers, Chris and Kurt Grimsrud; her parents-in-law, Buddy and Polly Vernes; and her brother-in-law Rick Vernes.
She is survived by: her mother Sharon L. Grimsrud (Sugden) of Wolf Point; her grandchildren, Rylee and Mackenzie; her husband Brad Vernes; her children, Jordan Broste (Ryan) and Kaleb Vernes (Brooke); her siblings, Craig Grimsrud (Jerri) of Wolf Point, Kyle Grimsrud of Lewistown, Kim Ferguson (Bruce) of Fort Peck and Shauna Murnion (Fred) of Cohagen; her sisters-in-law, Kristen Grimsrud of Huntley and Jackie Grimsrud of Roy; her brother Bob; and her sister-in-law Anita Johnson of Colorado Springs. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
