Sharon Lee Peterson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 30, 2024, at the age of 84, Sharon Lee Peterson of Billings, Montana, born in Helena, Montana passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sharon Lee Peterson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gladys Sawyer (Whitlatch) and Carl Wesley Sawyer; her husband Garde Peterson; and her brothers, Bill Sawyer and Jim Sawyer.
She is survived by: her siblings, Joan Doherty of Tacoma, Washington and Doug Miller of Post Falls, Idaho; her children, Joan Peterson of Austin Texas, Garde Wayne Peterson (Wayne) of Billings Montana and Susan Hoban; her grandchildren, Peter F. Ravella, Paul Ravella (Taylor Ravella), Kyle Hoban and Kelsey Hoban; her great grandchild Alice Joan Ravella; and also Don Hoban of Edgewood Washington. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
Sharon was past Chair of the Board of Directors of the Montana State University-Billings Foundation and served on the Board of Directors at the Yellowstone Art Museum.
