He was predeceased by: his girlfriend Pamela Black; and his parents, Dominick Schaff and Rose Schaff (Frank Hagel). He is survived by: his children, Lisa Malcom, Lynetta Hagel-Grant, Ronnie Hagel, Rickie Hagel and Randy Hagel; his siblings, Don Schaff, Robert Hagel, Frank Hagel, Esther Lagerwey, Bernice Degele and Janet Thom; and his grandsons, Austin Hagel and Dylan Grant.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary (1001 Alderson Ave, Billings, MT 59102).
