Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Robert Alfred Ploehn of Billings, Montana, born in Bottineau, North Dakota, who passed away at the age of 89, on November 1, 2020. He was predeceased by: his father Alfred; and his sister Jean Bonrud. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Johnson; his children, Kevin Ploehn (Carolee), Brenda Lehman (Paul), Twyla Best (Thomas Madden), Marlys Boyer (Floyd) and Charlene Puckett (Rick); and his sister Carol Ploehn. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Charlotte visited and cared for him every day for all 12 years, until Covid 19 shut everyone out of the long term care facilities. Bob is one of many who have died of loneliness and heartbreak as a result of the isolation Covid 19 has brought.
