He is survived by: his sons, Daniel (Christina) and Darrin (Karen); his grandchildren, Nicole Bruns (Nick), BrieAnna Bartlett (Joe), Chad Geck (Morgan), Courtney Geck and Brandon Geck; his great grandchildren, Raegan, Eli Bruns and Aiden Bartlett; his siblings, Arlene Urff, Phyllis Teague, Bob Geck (Lois), Dennis Geck (Kathy), Nadine Delabarre (Dennis) and Kellan Geck (Licia); and his sister-in-law MaryAnn Geck. He is also survived by numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews.

“In looking for a death record of my nephew, I was sorry to see that your Dad Richard died. I am a first cousin of your Dad, Vangie Geck Ripp living in Sublimity OR PO Box 91. It has been many years since I last saw your Dad. My husband Fred and I made many trips to ND and visited with those relatives who lived in the Glen Ullen area. I also noticed in the obituary that Theresa has died, I was surprised to see that as I had heard from her this last Christmas. My love and prayers to you.”
