He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Johanna; and his siblings, Richard, Bud, Wilma, Lois, Elaine, Jim, Lester and Lloyd.
He is survived by: his brother-in-law Kenny Backhaus; his wife Arlene Bricker; his children, Rodney, Sheila (Steve) and Sandy (Marty); and his siblings, Jean and Larry. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
