We are sad to announce that on April 21, 2020, at the age of 69, Perry Olaf Sorenson (Billings, Montana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Palmer Sorenson and Mabel Sorenson (Johnson); his sister LaVonne Alexander; his parents-in-law, Eli and Suzanna Stahl; and his brother-in-law Eli Stahl.

He is survived by: his children, Laura and Perry; his granddaughter Hannah Jade; his daughter Saige Riley; his wife Laura (Stahl); his children, Hannah and Jesse of Plentywood, MT; his grandchildren, Tage, Huntlie and Kyler Carrier of Williston, ND; and his siblings, Mavis Weiler (Jim) of Westby, MT, Daryl Sorenson (Donna) of Westby, MT and Stanley Sorenson (Robyn) of Gurnee, Illinois. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.

In 2001, Perry received a kidney transplant, a living kidney donation from his cherished friend and soon-to-be sister in law, Ann Stahl.

“More than four decades ago I met Perry when we both started a sales job with the same national company. We spent a week together training and then continued our friendship by commiserating at various regional meeting. After we both left the company we stayed in touch with occasional phone calls. Each of us, in our own way, following the others life. It is with sadness that I have learned of his passing. He was a soft spoken, wry and interesting person. I will miss him. Michael Beard”
