She is survived by: her mother Ruthie Smiley; her children, James Michels and Marsha Hawkins (Jim); her grandchildren, Jared, Ayana, Dillon and Ryan; her sisters, Joanie Caudill (Howard) and Gayle Brown (Dan); her niece Ronica Hall; and her pet Gidget.
