She was predeceased by: her parents, Allesandrina Ugolini (Albinelli) and Marco Ugolini; her former husband Norman Surgent; her son Norm; and her husband Robert Peterson.

She is survived by: her children, George Surgent (Marla) of St. Leonard, MD, Jimmy Surgent (Devon) of Nordland, WA and JoAnne Coolidge (Dan) of Red Lodge, MT; and her grandchildren, Eric Surgent (Andrea), April Surgent (Zak Hinderyckx), Ahren Surgent (Jamie), Blaire Surgent (Katie), Jake Coolidge (Rhian Clark) and Alex Coolidge (Jessica Montcalm). She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made in her name to the Shriners Hospital, St. John's Hospice in Billings, MT or Calvary Episcopal Church in Red Lodge, MT.
