He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Hudson Duncan and Agnes Effie Duncan (Dennis); his former wife Nellie Peck; and his siblings, Charles L. Duncan, Claude Duncan, Ted Duncan, Clyde A. Duncan, Johnny Duncan, Ruth Marshal, Dorothy West, Jean Sandor, Vera Keeny, Nellie Haughan and Hazel Ridgway.

He is survived by: his former spouse Caralee J. Lefler; his children, Jim "Duke" Duncan and Susan A. Laridis (Duncan); his wife Joan Duncan; his grandchildren, Greg Laridis (Song), David Duncan (Tiffany), Lisa Maxwell (Neal), Elke Michaelis (Dustin), Bobbie Sue Laridis and John Laridis; and his stepdaughter Jennifer Johnson (Ed). He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
