She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar J. Peterson and Adina M. Peterson (Magnuson); her husband L. Douglas Nixon; and her son Timothy J. Nixon. She is survived by: her son David Nixon (Patricia) of Colorado Springs; her grandchildren, James Nixon (Chelsey) of Wichita, Kansas, Krista Warren (Jerad) of Golden, Colorado and Gilbert Maes (Jaymee) of Las Vegas; and her great grandchildren, Blake Nixon, Anthony Maes and Amaree Maes.
