She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Joseph and Helen Peltier Dieveney. She is survived by: her children, Gregory, Mary Francis (Marlo) and Eugene (Laura); her husband Tom Chakos; her stepsons, Chris (Kyle), David (Carye) and Todd (Carolyn); and her siblings, Carolyn, Thomas (Linda) and Frank (Kathy). She is also survived by her 8 children, fourteen grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.
