She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Mary Gerving and Jacob Anton Skalsky; her half-sisters, Betty and Florence; her brothers, James, Leonard, Ernie, Irvin and Clarence; her former husband Adoph Nelson; her sons, Everett and Eric; her former husband Dee Shepard; her children, Wayne, Duane, Thomas and Shirley; her siblings, Virginia Mueller (Fred) of Denver, Arlene Schatz of Glen Ullin, Shirley Grosz of Bismarck and Clifford Skalsky of Mandan; and her children, Albert Nelson (Maura) of Denver, Douglas Shepard (Beverly) of Billings, Glennda Abbey (Wayne) of Billings, Susan Carner (Duwanne) of Billings and Sandra Quigley (Donald) of Billings. She was also cherished by fifteen grand-children, six great grand-children, one great-great grand-child, and numerous nieces and nephews.
