He was predeceased by: his parents, Felix Mattern and Isabel Mattern; and his brother-in-law John Sengar. He is survived by: his spouses, Cathy Stevens and Deborah Krause; his children, Jessika, Wade, Justin, Kelley Gaustad (Les), Kristen Zalenski (Erik) and Shawnna Krause; his siblings, Germaine Sengar, Janice Kreuger (Erick), Elaine Danielson (Cliff), Karen Marcotte (Joe) and Brain Mattern (Rachel); his grandchildren, Kailey, Kolbey Gaustad, Isabella, Abigail Zalenski, Jessika, Wade, Justin Eiskant and KoKo; and his friends, Ron Olson, Bob Taylor, Randy Adams and Rob Fox. He is also survived by grandsons, road trips with his kids and grandkids and spending time with his successions of family dogs.
