He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia Yurian; his sister-in-law Vivian Moats; his sister Rosemary VanSteeland; and his parents, John Yurian, Sr. and Mary Yurian.
He is survived by: his children, Sandie Sullins (Monty), Rita Benzie (Robert) and Dale Yurian. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
