He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Helen Heuhen and John "Emerald" Daugherty; and his brother William "Bill" Earl Daugherty. He is survived by: his wife Alice Merle Coles; his children, Virginia "Ginny" (Mike), John III, Kenneth "Kenny" (Cheron), Mathew "Matt" (Theresa), James (Jaime) and Christtina "Tina" (John); and his grandchildren, Amanda, Devin, Doug, Shannon, Caitlin, Ambrosia, Michael, Julie, Stefanie, Quentin, Abigail, Emerald, Isiah, Jenny and Vanessa.
