He was predeceased by: his children, Kathi (late Tim), Paul, Susan (Bart), Lynn (Gary), John (Lori) and James (Angela); his wife Ruth Rawlings Grimstad; his son-in-law Tim Schultz; his sister Jerine Grimstad Ridgway; and his parents, Orpha Grimstad and Knute Grimstad.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM.
