He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Cuellar and Basilia Cuellar (Alvarez); his daughter Kathryn Castro; his siblings, James, John Cuellar, Isabell Cuellar and Mary Ann Estrada; his siblings-in-law, Helen Fisher, Alice Marquez, Jenny Quintana, Joseph, Richard and James Ponce (SR); and his uncle Roque Alvarez.

He is survived by: his children, Roberta Najar (Pedro) and Daniel Cuellar; his siblings, Joe Cuellar, Maria Contreraz (John), Carmel Romero (Richard), Lisa Scott (Robert) and Josie; his child Papa; and his grandchildren, Misty Cummins (Martin), Angelo, Mathew, Marcus, Marissa Castro, Olga Gutierrez (Eric), Carlos Najar (Madison), David Romero, Michael Cuellar, Devin Bailey, Kiah Cox, Anyssa Castro, Olivia Castro, Octavia Hatch, Teya Harmala, Anjelia, Miguel Gutierrez, Mia, Zoey Romero, Cruz, Camila Najar, Liam Cuellar, Damian Sander, Javier Villarreal and Chico. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
