He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Kerrick and Emma Kerrick (Roh). He is survived by: his brother Thomas D. Kerrick (Vonnie) of Boise, Idaho; his wife Kathleen F. Fitzgerald; his children, Michelle of Denver, Colorado, Shaun (Kathy) of Denver Colorado, Kip of Tampa, Florida and Casey (Cari) of Wesley Chapel, Florida; his grandchildren, Ryan, Brandon, Courtney, Zachary, Gabe, Makayla, Emma and Alyssa; and his great grandchildren, Phyre, Landon, Jackson, Arykah and Rogan.
He worked with the Montana Community Foundation, helping provide local high school students with college scholarships.
