It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jane Susan Nelson of Billings, Montana, who passed away on May 24, 2021, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Leonard Nelson and Mathilda Nelson; her grandfather Mons; her brother Bruce (Susan) of Billings; her niece Lindsey Nelson of Medford, Oregon; her nephews, Collin Nelson of Billings, Cory Nelson (Krista) of Tigard and Chris Herreid of Southaven; and also Sweden.
As part of Jane's philanthropic legacy, she established a foundation at the UND School of Nursing and Professional Disciplines to provide scholarships to those individuals desiring a career in nursing. Memorials may be made to Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter in Billings, Help for Homeless Pets in Billings, or a charity of your choice.
