We are sad to announce that on August 28, 2021, at the age of 92, James Tallman (Billings, Montana), born in Aberdeen, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Had Tallman and Martha Tallman; his son Craig; his wife Lois; his parents-in-law, Herman and Hildur Storkel; and his brothers, Hank Tallman and Clint Tallman.

He is survived by: his brother Painting; his grandson Craig; and his daughters, Michelle Brask (Rollin), Corrine Cross (Greg), Laurie Dillard (Mark) and Wendy Dubinsky (Dean). He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews.

During the long days of isolation due to Covid, Jim and his family appreciated connecting on Zoom and phone calls.

“September 5, 2121 Karen Crum It was some fifty years ago that I was welcomed into your home by your dad and mom. Your dad was busy doing some projects around the house but stopped to talk to me and welcome me and made me feel very “at home” just sitting and chatting with him. It was my experience that both of your parents made me feel not like a guest in your home but a member of the family.”
