He was predeceased by: his parents, Walt Wilkinson and Betty Wilkinson; and his sister Judy Wilkinson Leavell. He is survived by: his wife Patrice Heinrich Wilkinson; his daughter Michelle Gustin; his granddaughter Harper; his siblings, Jerry (Lois) and Janet Wilkinson Pedersen; his nieces, Charmon Hemphill (Monique) and Angela (Anthony); and his children, TaNesha, Tamara, Tyrell and D'Anthony.
