With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Herbert Elmer Gunsch Sr. (Billings, Montana), who passed away on March 1, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, August Gunsch and Hilda Gunsch (Speidel); his siblings, Gilbert, Bernice and Hannah; and his son Herbert E. Gunsch Jr. (Herbie).
He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Debra Christensen (Kean), DeAnna Stratton (Rick), Donna Kirkness and Ron Roberts (Steve); his brother Ed Gunsch (Dolores); and his siblings-in-law, Judy Driscoll (Dennis) and Jim Kranz. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung Association in Herb's honor.
