It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Phyllis Detra of Billings, Montana, born in Birds, Illinois, who passed away on October 11, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Ford and Edna Ford (Coombs); her brothers, LeRoy and Amos; and her stepchildren, Jody and Mark Detra.
She is survived by: her husband Robert L. Detra; her children, Cheryl Hoover (Jim) and David Detra (Christine) of Billings; and her grandchildren, Tracey Brock (Jeremy), Jeff Alitz (Angie), Jason Detra (Lyndsee), Angela Detra, Brian Hoover (Amy), Matt Hagen (Laura), Kady Detra, Shaun Hoover (Priscila), Nicholas Detra, Beau Detra and Lane Detra. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
