He was predeceased by: his parents, George Sullins and Betty Smickle; and his daughter Amanda. He is survived by: his wife Sandie Sullins; his son Ryan Sullins; his stepchildren, Joe Carroll and Kaycee Carroll; and his grandchildren, Dylan, Payton and Kaitlyn.

Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Smith West Chapel (304 34th St W, Billings, MT 59102). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Yellowstone National Cemetery (55 Buffalo Trail Rd, Laurel, MT 59044).
