He was predeceased by: his parents, Donaciano Contreras and Celia Contreras (Ortiz); and his brothers, Michael Contreras, Santiago Contreras and Domingo Contreras.
He is survived by: his wife Emma C. Contreras of Billings, Montana; his daughters, Eva Contreras Serna (Hector Serna) of Las Cruces and Anna Contreras of Billings, Montana; his siblings, Catarina Blair of Arkansas, Maria Wise (Steve) of Cleveland, Texas, Chano Contreras of Conroe, Jose Contreras of Centerville, Antonio Contreras of Crystal City and Pablo Contreras of Crystal City; and his granddaughter Ninel Gutierrez of Billings, Montana. He is also survived by numerous niece, nephews and cousins.
