He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Zappe and Selma Zappe. He is survived by: his wife Michelle Kida; his children, Justin M. Zappe of Billings, Cortney Smith of Billings and Catlyn Rohwer of Meridian; and his siblings, Kenny McLaughlin of Omaha, Linda Youmens of Washington and Patty Kent of California.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions to Yellowstone Valley Animal Center to continue Fred's love of animals.
