He was loved and cherished by many people including: his grandmother Mary Pirtz; his wife Sandy; his siblings, Bob, Linda (John Jacobson), Judy Pirtz (Tony), Matthew Pirtz and Mary Pirtz (Matt); his grandchildren, Trevor, Kevon, Danielle (Sean), Alexandra (James), Eric and Matalin; and his great grandchildren, Xander, Boston, Romen, Piper and Jaxson.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or the American Alzheimer Association.
