He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugo Swanson and Edith Swanson (Johnson); his wife Faye Swanson; and his siblings, Martha (Arthur), Dorothy, Marvin (Cecil), Weldon, Carl, Thomas (Carrol) and Larry (Joan).
He is survived by: his brother Gordon Swanson (Linda); and his children, Julie Swanson Brian (Marty) of Selah, WA and Robert Swanson (Milissa Kochel) of Valier. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
